 The course Modules a as follows:

 Module I – Style Profile Assessment Instrument– This will provide an assessment of one’s communication style and self management strategies to improve collaboration. This learning will help managers to improve and enhance communication with staff.

Each participant will receive an assessment instrument with guided interpretation and

a planned approach to improving one’s individual style. (Gilmore & Fraleigh, OR).

 

Module II – Managing Communication Skills for Managers – A focus on management communication skills and approach to leadership communication as well as purpose stating and performance imaging. This will help managers become aware of the impact and flow of their communication.

 

Module III – Conflict Management – Leader Perspective – This course module is

will provide leaders with a macro perspective on conflict management. This

allows for implementation of conflict management strategies in the project planning and strategizing stages, to prevent and reduce conflicts with the launching and execution of a leadership plan.

 

Module IV – Collaborative Strategies in Management – This module will help

managers to develop comprehensive collaborative skills that will change the way they

approach management. They will learn to implement collaborative strategies in their

leadership approach to gain more cooperation from those they lead.

 

Module V –Collaboration in a cultural & Diverse Setting – This module will focus

on the cultural and diversity conflicts within organization from a management

perspective. Some of the areas to be addressed will be multi-generational conflicts

and managing the diversity issues that are present in a diverse workplace.

 

Module VI –Management System Models – This module will examine a number of

leadership models and systemic approaches to collaborative management that will

allow for significant changes in their overall execution and experience of management.
